Dave and Sue pride themselves on teaching efficient movement, precision footwork and excellent partnering technique.
As nationally qualified educators and coaches they are able to deliver detailed, technical information in a variety of clear, fun and unusual ways.

Dave started teaching Salsa 9 years ago with just 3 students in a small church side-room. These classes now cater for over a hundred students per week.  Dave draws on his 15 years experience as a sports coaching at national level to deliver partnering technique in technical and innovative ways.

Sue has been dancing since mid 2004. Due to her devotion to dancing and many hours practising and perfecting technique She is now a competent dancer On 1 and On2 and  has become an excellent Salsa/ Mambo teacher both privately and in a group setting.

Recently Dave & Sue set up the ‘Fiat 2 Ferrari’ series of workshops. These workshops delve into the finer technicalities and principles of movement and Lead and Follow. The workshops analyse the why’s and how’s of partnering and dance technique laying out the fundamental principles, thus enabling the dancer to ‘think for themselves’. As the Chinese proverb says” Give a man a fish and you feed him for the day, teach him how to fish and he will feed for a lifetime”.

Dave and Sue have worked closely with international artists Nelson Flores, Melissa Rosado and Irene Miguel. It was whilst attending these Student performance groups set up by Irene Miguel, that they decided they wanted to not only teach but also perform. They delivered their debut performance ‘Cuban Fantasy ‘ by Nelson Flores at GBSEx, which was a great privilege and from those experiences have now gone on to choreograph their own piece, which they will be ready to debut later in the year. They are currently working on choreography for their students. Watch this space!
